Overweight and obese women might need to take more exercise than standard recommendations to maintain weight loss. A study assigned women to a weight loss program with varying levels of exercise. Those taking the most exercise were the most likely to maintain their 10 percent weight loss.
NEW Migraine with aura increases stroke risk in women
August 29, 2008
Migraine with aura appears to be a risk factor for stroke in women, according to a new study. But the absolute risk is modified by other stroke risk factors. Migraine may cause changes in the brain that predispose to stroke.
